*Team Manager will receive two complimentary gate admissions and one camping pass

 

TRANSPONDERS:

Mylaps MX Transponders will be REQUIRED for all classes, including Pee Wee. They will be available for rent at the event. $30 per transponder and requires a $100 cash deposit for each transponder rented a driver’s license or physical credit card that is left with us.

REFUNDS:

There will be a $15 processing fee per class, excluding transaction fees…Refunds will be issued up until Aug 28th.  Any refund requests after Aug 28th will receive a rain check good for one year.  If you are injured in Friday practice and cannot race, you will be issued a rain check for your motos, good for any of our events for 1 year.

RIDER CHECK-IN:

 

All riders are required to check in before racing starts on August 30th, Saturday morning.

Riders will receive their practice tickets  

Riders will not practice if they do not check-in. No exceptions.

 

Rider check-in will be open at the following times.

Thurs, Aug 28th 6pm-8pm

Fri., Aug 29th 7am-12pm then 2pm-8pm

Sat Aug 30st 6:30am -start of racing

 

 TEAM GUIDELINES:

 

  • A team can be sponsored by anyone.
  • A sponsor can have multiple teams.
  • Up to 14 classes per team – example: 7 riders x 2 classes.
  • Up to 3 riders in the same class per team.
  • Riders can only ride for 1 race shop/sponsor.
  • A rider can ride on multiple teams within his team sponsor.
  • Rosters must be filled out completely & clearly.
  • Team rider lists will be available online.
  • Riders names / classes / numbers must be correctly filled out.
  • No team roster changes once submitted.
  • No exceptions will be made.
  • Team Rosters are due by Friday Aug 29th @ 7:00pm  

SCORING:

 

There will be a contact person and a form to fill out for issues and problems regarding the scoring.

Please do not disturb the lap checkers and scorers; you will be disqualified if you create any problems.

Please make sure you check results when posted. You will have 30 minutes from time results are posted to file a protest.

There will be NO EXCEPTIONS.

 

TOP GUN POINTS: (PER CLASS, PER MOTO)

 

1st-25, 2nd-22, 3rd-20, 4th-18, 5th-16, 6th-15, 7th-14, 8th-13, 9th-12, 10th-11, 11th-10, 12th-9, 13th-8, 14th-7, 15th-6, 16th-5, 17th-4, 18th-3, 19th-2, 20th-1

 

Everyone after 20th place will receive one point.

NO POINTS WILL BE DROPPED

CLASS REGULATIONS:

 

  •  ALL CLASSES ARE CAPPED AT 45 ENTRIES, WE WILL NOT BE RUNNING QUALIFIERS
  •  RIDERS THAT FINISHED IN THE TOP 3 IN THE BEGINNER OR JUNIOR CLASSES AT A PREVIOUS TOP GUN EVENTS CANNOT RIDE THE SAME CLASS LEVEL.
  • RIDER CLASSIFICATION PROTESTS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY PROOF OF COMPETING IN A HIGHER CLASS
  • ALL PROTESTS MUST BE MADE BY THE TEAM MANAGER AND WILL BE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL. The only exception: Riders cannot be forced to move into the professional class (A)
  • A BEGINNER RIDER WHO HAS MOVED UP A BIKE SIZE SINCE 2024 AND PLACED TOP 3 IN A PREVIOUS TOP GUN CAN STILL RIDE AT THE SAME C/D LEVEL: IE: A 65 BEGINNER RIDER CAN RIDE 85 BEGINNER
  • RIDER WHO PLACED TOP 3 IN PREVIOUS TOP GUN C/D CLASSES MUST MOVE UP A CLASS LEVEL** IE: IF A 250D RIDER PLACED TOP 3, THEY MUST MOVE UP TO 250C, Unlim C, 450C
  • RIDERS THAT ARE USED TO RACING AMA AGE EVENTS FOR MINI CLASSES NEED TO RACE IN THE CORRECT SKILL LEVEL CLASS. IF IN THE FIRST MOTO WE SEE ANY RIDERS OUTCLASSING THE COMPETITION, WE WILL GRADUATE THOSE RIDERS TO THE NEXT CLASS UP.
  • IF A RIDER WENT TO THE LORETTA LYNNS AMATEUR NATIONAL IN 2025 THEY ARE ABLE TO RIDE THAT SAME LEVEL CLASS FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE YEAR UNLESS THEY PLACED TOP 3 IN A PREVIOUS TOP GUN EVENT
  • IF A RIDER WENT TO THE LORETTA LYNNS AMATEUR NATIONAL 2024 AND PRIOR THEY MAY NOT RIDE A BEGINNER OR JUNIOR CLASS, EVEN IF THEY HAVE MOVED UP A BIKE SIZE
  • PEE WEES THAT HAVE RACED ANY YEAR AT LORETTAS CANNOT RACE IN THE TOP GUN PEEWEE CLASS, THIS IS FOR BEGINNERS
  • NO PROTESTS ON RIDERS IN THE WRONG CLASS AFTER SATURDAY. OTHER RELEVANT PROTESTS MAY BE PRESENTED. ALL PROTESTS MUST BE PRESENTED BY THE TEAM MANAGER
  • NEW FOR 2025-AFTER ALL TEAMS HAVE BEEN ENTERED AND SATURDAY RACING HAS STARTED  TEAM LISTS BE MADE AVAILABLE TO ALL TEAM MANAGERS ONLY
  • ELECTRIC MOTORCYCLES IN BIG BIKE CLASSES WILL BE ALLOWED TO RACE IN: 25+, 30+ 40+, 50+, 60+, 450A, UNLIM A

IF ANY PARTICIPANT (RIDER, PARENT, SPECTATOR, ETC) IS FOUND TO BE SABOTAGING ANOTHER RIDER OR TEAM ON OR OFF THE TRACK THE TEAM THEY ARE RIDING FOR WILL HAVE 25 POINTS DEDUCTED AND THE RIDER WILL BE DISQUALIFIED INCLUDING ANY MOTOS ALREADY COMPLETED

* For riders just coming Friday ONLY for organized practice, you will need to pay the full weekend gate admission to enter the park for practice and will be refunded when leaving the track by a certain time (it will be announced).  The front gate will cut your band off and issue a refund for days not attended.

The race schedule will be posted online.

Two lap practice will be on Saturday only for all classes and the practice order can be found on the weekend schedule.

The race schedule will run continuously each day to a certain time.

 

Site Laps will start at 8 am on Saturday, Racing to follow.

Racing will start at 8 am on Sunday & Monday

The best Disco Theme Team pits receive team points for their top-scoring Team.

TROPHIES:

Trophies will be handed out to the Top 33% in each class UP TO 10TH PLACE at the Black Devol Trailer located in at the infield where T-shirts are sold

Trophies will be determined on the overall finish of all 3 motos. This includes Pee Wee and 50cc classes! 

The Winning team will be presented with the prestigious “Top Gun” billet trophy on Monday after racing and scoring conclude.

We will announce the winners and present them with their awards.

The “Top Gun” trophy will remain with the winning team until the next years Top Gun Team winner.
